Finding the “I”

I wrote to a friend:

I have now collected some of my writing into a single PDF, which I titled “A Natural Mindfulness”. I have included some of your responses to “Waking Up and Falling Asleep”, at the start of the work.

I put the collection together because I felt that I had come full circle in my writing, and I sensed that I could put forward the elements that made me feel this was so in one place.

I don’t know if it will be useful to you or not, but I wanted to mention it. The PDF is here:

A Natural Mindfulness

I know it might seem like I’m not doing enough to get the word out about the practice in “Waking Up and Falling Asleep”, which we both feel could be important to many people. For me, I need to find a way to realize this practice in everyday life, as a way of living; that is what I have addressed in the writings I have collected, and if in fact I have succeeded in answering my own need in this regard, then I am hopeful that a contribution to the larger society will follow.

My friend replied:

the link above Mark reminds me a lot of your practice where you find your connectedness with the Universe. Finding the ‘I’.

I wrote back: “What a beautiful approach; what a gift she has!”

My hat is off, to Connirae Andreas.
